LGBT: The truth of the society
Everyone
in this universe has born with the permission of nature. Nature has made
everyone in their unique character. No one is made perfect on earth. But we,
human beings think that we are born to be perfect. Sometimes it seems to be
very unusual to imagine a thing that is beyond our control or a thing that
seems to be very unnatural in its origin. But as I already explained above,
everything happens with the consent of nature. Then how can we judge something
unnatural or beyond nature’s ethical wish? The almighty God, whom everyone
believes in, made us all with every perfection as well as imperfection. He can create some of us a little different.
Our
country, India, is a land of traditions, customs and cultures. Yes, agreed with
this. But also can’t deny the fact that it is that country where rape is not
offended under law, but LGBT has criminal offence under the constitution. Can I ask
why?
I am asking every citizen of this country that do you think that to fall in love or love someone unconditionally is wrong.

For
a while let us forget this misconception that love can only emerge between
opposite sexes. No, sexes are nothing more than a term that differentiates us
from one another. Love can happen between the same sex too. It is not a disease or
a crime that our society thinks. A human can love animals too, then why not a
person of the same sex. Why is LGBT treated as a crime in our country under section
377? No society or law can break the happenings of nature.
We
think that a gay or a lesbian only needs physical satisfaction from each other.
But the reality is totally different. Sex and love both are very apart from
each other. True love never craves for sex and yes, they too can love a person
truly, maybe of the same sex, it doesn’t matter. The desire for love is a
necessity in everyone’s life. Lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender whatever a
person may be, they are also human beings. They too have the right to love
someone who on the other hand loves them unconditionally. From ages, our society
hates them and treats them in such a manner that it feels like they are worse
than animals. Thes hatred forces them to hate us and our society much more.
What is their fault if they choose a person to be loved?
It
is the fault of our so-called society, who are thinking that this is abnormal.
Actually, the people of our society, who think themselves normal, their minds
are abnormal.
Today,
the 6th of September, 2018, marked a historical day in India’s constitution.
Our Supreme Court of India has given the verdict that everyone has the right to
choose their own partner irrespective of sex. The LGBT law of section 377 has
been cancelled from today onwards. Our Hon’ble Supreme Court finally gave the judgement
of freedom to love and choose. LGBT community has the same rights as any
ordinary citizen. Respect for individuals is the essence of liberty. They also
possess equal rights under the constitution. Criminalising gay sex is
irrational and indefensible.

The law has passed freely but do you think that the problems faced by the LGBT
community will stop from now? No, our society will still violate them in the
name of abnormality. They will see them inferior again and again. The actual
motive of passing the law is not just giving those equal rights but also a warning
to those people who see them as inferior. Just try to change your mindset,
then see that the entire world will change and will be bound to respect the
feelings of each other. Everyone will once again learn the principle of
humanity.
Love has no limits. It knows no bounds. Once again love showed us all that how much power it possesses in itself. Today we again learnt the way to love each other unconditionally. It is a great moment in the history of mankind. So just enjoy the moments of togetherness.
